2019-2020 Fall Sports Info

Boys Cross Country:  Please meete at the middle school track complex Monday thru Friday 8am to 10am.  Come ready to run.  Must have a physical completed per guidelines below and must be registered on Family ID in order to participate.  Join Google Classroom Code:  2x8kfg

Freshman practice begins August 19th thru the season from 2:30 - 4:40.  Freshman must come prepared with their physical and family ID registration completed - NO EXCEPTIONS.  Must bring a lock, sneakers or cleats, wear black shorts, and either a  black, orange or white t-shirt.    Contact Coach Gautier at RGautier@pennsburysd.org for more info. 
Golf:  Tryouts will take place August 12-14 at the Yardley Country Club. 
August 12 - Arrive at 9am, tee off is at 10am.  August 13-14 tee off is at 2:00pm.  
Wear collared shirts, NO cargo shorts.   Must complete requirements outlined below before that day.  If you do not have the required info you will NOT be able to tryout.

Student-Athlete Info:


1.  Students need a physical completed on or after June 1, 2019  in order to participate in any PIAA sport during the 2019-2020 School year. Physicals completed before this date are not acceptable per PIAA Rules &  RegulationsWE CANNOT MAKE ANY EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE!  (if you cannot go to your primary physician, there are urgent care centers and local pharmacy clinics which charge lessor fees.)  

2.   At the High School level all athletic physical information is submitted online through Family ID (see blue button on right side)

3.   All student-athletes must view the concussion presentation at the start of the season of the sport they are trying out for. (see     Concussion Info on left side) 

4.   Students & Families should familiarize themselves with the PSD Interscholastic Sports Rules & Regulations AND the Parent   Communication Plan (see tabs on right side)

5.   Check the team websites for specific team info (see team website tab on left)

6.   Email the coach for the team you are interested in trying out for more info (see coaching staff tab on left) 

7.   Listen to the school's daily annoucements for sports info

8.   Check our webpage often for last minute info such as cancellations and changes to sporting events - especially during inclement weather


If you were matriculated at another high school (whether or not you played a sport there) and plan to participate in a sport at Pennsbury you must complete a Transfer Waiver request (see link on right).  Return the transfer paperwork to Lou Sudholz, Athletic Director at PHS West
