LACROSSE (BOYS):  All boys who are interested in playing lacrosse this spring are invited to meet this Thursday January 16th at 2:30 at PHS West in the Orange cafeteria. The coaches will present the plan for the 2020 season and be available to answer any questions you may have. If you are unable to make the meeting, please complete the interest form at bit.ly/phslax2020.

FOOTBALL:  All students interested in participating in the 2020 Football Program MUST attend the registration meeting January 21st at 7:00 in the East Cafeteria. A Parent or Guardian must also be in attendance.

BASEBALL:   OPTIONAL Baseball Winter Workouts begin Monday January 6th from 4-6pm at Nation9 Sports Academy. If you want to participate in winter workouts you can find registration information on our team website www.pennsburyfalconbaseball.com, on twitter @PSD_Baseball, on our Remind Class @falconbsbl, or see Coach Pettit in the West Orange gym for handouts.  All 9th-12th grader players are invited to participate!

Student-Athlete Info:


1.  Students need a physical completed on or after June 1, 2019  in order to participate in any PIAA sport during the 2019-2020 School year. Physicals completed before this date are not acceptable per PIAA Rules &  RegulationsWE CANNOT MAKE ANY EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE!  (if you cannot go to your primary physician, there are urgent care centers and local pharmacy clinics which charge lessor fees.)  

2.   At the High School level all athletic physical information is submitted online through Family ID (see blue button on right side)

3.   All student-athletes must view the concussion presentation at the start of the season of the sport they are trying out for. (see     Concussion Info on left side) 

4.   Students & Families should familiarize themselves with the PSD Interscholastic Sports Rules & Regulations AND the Parent   Communication Plan (see tabs on right side)

5.   Check the team websites for specific team info (see team website tab on left)

6.   Email the coach for the team you are interested in trying out for more info (see coaching staff tab on left) 

7.   Listen to the school's daily annoucements for sports info

8.   Check our webpage often for last minute info such as cancellations and changes to sporting events - especially during inclement weather


If you were matriculated at another high school (whether or not you played a sport there) and plan to participate in a sport at Pennsbury you must complete a Transfer Waiver request (see link on right).  Return the transfer paperwork to Lou Sudholz, Athletic Director at PHS West
