Pennwood Middle School thanks PA Representative Perry Warren for their new state flag! Fox29's Bob Kelly (right) stopped at Pennsbury High School for a live segment of "Bob on the Bandwagon" with the PHS Long Orange Line Marching Band! The Edgewood Elementary PTO shared surprise gifts, cards, and breakfast treats with their Pennsbury bus drivers to show gratitude for all they do all year long.. PA Governor Tom Wolf (2nd from right) visited Pennsbury High School on Feb 26th to discuss his proposed Nellie Bly Scholarship Program, a historic $204M need-based scholarship fund. Congratulations to the 2020 PHS MiniTHON team of 70 captains and 173 overall participants, led by faculty advisor, Meaghan Cappelloni, for raising another record-breaking total to support the Four Diamonds Fund! After a competitive tournament, the Super Duper Bowl X championship team at Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary was the Miller Mean Machine! More than 160 Pennsbury elementary students gathered for the 4th annual Day of Service in memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  Blankets, cards, activity and supply kits were among the items assembled as donations for community groups. PHS Concert Choir took the stage at Carnegie Hall in NYC as one of 8 international choirs performing the North American premiere of "Miserere: Songs of Mercy and Redemption" by Sir Karl Jenkins, under the baton of Dr. Jonathan Griffiths. Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Pennsbury High School were honored by the Pennsbury School Board in January, which is National Mentoring Month. CONGRATULATIONS to Afton Elementary for being named a National Blue Ribbon School 2019-2020 by the U.S. Dept of Education! Pennsbury's Bus Driver of the Year is Thomas McGoldrick!
