Dress Up Days
Thursday, February 18th 100th Day of School – Dress like you’re 100 years old.
Monday, February 29th Leap Day – Leap into the future and dress up as the career you want to be. The Career Fair will be held at Pennsbury High School this evening.
Wednesday, March 2nd Dr. Seuss Day – Dress like your favorite Dr. Seuss character
Thursday, March 17th St. Patrick’s Day – Wear green and white
….Doves for the Garden of Reflection – Penn Valley has been invited to help decorate doves that represent all the victims of the September 11th attacks. They will be hung at the Garden of Reflection in September, 2016.
…Watch for a flyer telling you how to put your star on the Penn Valley World Map. Let’s find out where the families of Penn Valley are from.
Keep your eyes open for a booklet of postcards that your child will bring home this week, with a picture of a 3D SpongeBob shirt with glasses on the cover. By completing this booklet, you will be helping Penn Valley earn money for our school. For each postcard completed, Penn Valley receives $0.50. If the entire booklet of 11 postcards is completed, Penn Valley will get $5.50!! Each postcard must have a unique, valid mailing address.
There is NOTHING TO BUY and there is NO COST TO YOU!! Each student who returns a booklet with AT LEAST one postcard completed will receive a small prize. Each student who returns a booklet with ALL 11 postcards completed will receive 2 small prizes and be entered into a drawing for a Remote Controlled Robot.
Please be sure to have your student return their completed booklet to their homeroom teacher by Friday, March 12. Thank you!
