In the past few months in Pennsylvania, schools have experienced an earthquake, a hurricane, tornadoes, major and minor flooding, and power outages. Parents, please be aware that school may be closed or dismiss early for a variety of reasons at any time of year. As we have seen, it is not only snow and ice that disrupts our school calendar. Emergency contact information should be checked annually and any change to your contact information during the year should be reported to school as soon as possible. Also, please review emergency dismissal procedures with your child periodically throughout the year and not only before a snow storm. |
