To the Pennsbury School Community,

     As you are well aware, we at Pennsbury are proud of our students, our professional and support staff, our administrators, and our programs.  Our aim, as outlined in our Curriculum and Instruction Vision Statement, is to ensure that each child can be supported and challenged to become his or her best intellectual self.

     The Pennsylvania Department of Education has enacted a Pennsylvania Accountability System in compliance with No Child Left Behind legislation at the federal level.  All districts are asked to create a report card that informs the school community of student performance on state reading, writing, and mathematics tests and on other indicators of student life in schools.

     We will continue to inform you of the changes in state and federal legislation as they become known to us.  We will continue to share information about student performance as assessment information is reported to the District.  Finally, you can be assured that the well-being and academic achievement of our children remains our highest priority.
