Pennsbury Students Travel to Germany, Austria, and Iceland

A total of 18 Pennsbury High School students participated in the annual Pennsbury Summer School Abroad Program from June 23rd to July 20th with German teacher chaperones, Herr Tom Goode and Herr Doug Campbell. Students traveled to Oldenburg, Germany for nearly three weeks, where they attended school, stayed with host families, celebrated Germany's World Cup victory, and traveled to Hamburg and Bremen. Next, the students visited Berlin, Munich, Salzburg, and ended the trip with a three-day tour of Reykjavik, Iceland. "Students provided really positive feedback about this year's German-American Partnership Program (GAPP) trip," said World Language Department Chairperson, Frau Amy DiFazio.
