A National School District of Character
The Eagles Swoop mascot donned his robe to pay a visit to William Penn Middle School to support PJ Day for CHOP! Pre-K students at Manor Elementary conducted a science experiment with ice cubes to learn about liquids and solids. (L-R) Senior PHS athletes, Samantha Hackman and Maya Geller, signed National Letters of Intent to play field hockey at LaSalle University and the University of Pennsylvania, respectively. Manor Elementary students gathered together to form a giant human M to display their teamwork. Oxford Valley Elementary students honored local veterans, including many of their own family members, with a special breakfast and assembly. Cadets from the PHS Air Force JROTC unit presented the colors. Guest author Andrea Davis Pinkney discussed her books with students in every grade level at Makefield Elementary. Pennsbury veterans from the Class of 1964 addressed 11th graders studying modern U.S. history. members of the Rotary collect donations from Edgewood Elementary for the Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter. A Kids Walking 4 Kids walkathon at Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary raised $2,500 to support cancer research. First graders at Penn Valley Elementary say "BOO!" to drugs during Red Ribbon Week.
